Privacy policy

This policy covers jamaicancarplug.com and the Jamaican Car Plug text line, run by Jamaican, a sales consultant at Busam Nissan, 1501 E. Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45246. "I," "me," and "my" below mean Jamaican and Jamaican Car Plug.

What I collect

• What you put in the form: your name, mobile number, email, city, the kind of vehicle you want, the payment and down payment ranges you pick, how you describe your credit, your trade-in details, and any notes.
• Text messages you send to my number and the replies you get.
• Appointment times you book and any vehicle you buy through me, so I can follow up and keep my records straight.
• Proof of your text permission: the date and time, the wording you agreed to, your IP address, and your browser type.
• Where your visit came from, such as a Facebook link or a campaign tag in the web address.

This site never asks for your Social Security number, and it doesn't run a credit check.

How I use it

• To answer you, help you find a vehicle, and work out your trade-in.
• To schedule your visit and send appointment reminders.
• To send deals, new arrivals, and trade-in events, only if you joined that list.
• To keep records of your text permission and opt-outs.

Who I share it with

• Busam Nissan, so the dealership can complete your purchase, paperwork, and any financing you ask for.
• Lenders, only when you apply for financing through the dealership.
• Service providers that run my systems, such as my text messaging provider and website host, only so they can provide those services.
• Anyone the law requires me to share it with.

I don't sell your personal information.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts, or LEAVE to leave just the deals list. See the text message terms.
• To see, correct, or delete what I have about you, text (513) 555-0142 or call (312) 999-7584. The dealership keeps its own records of any purchase, which it needs to retain by law.

How long I keep it and how I protect it

I keep your information while we're doing business and for a reasonable time after, so I can help you with your next vehicle. Records of text permission are kept as long as needed to show you agreed. Your information is stored in a password-protected system. Only I and the people who maintain that system for me can get to it.

Kids

This site is for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
